Our Story
The Youth Worship Cooperative (YWC) was founded in 2024 to address a notable gap in the Christian worship community: the lack of dedicated support for the youth community and their worship journey.
Recognizing the unique spiritual and social needs of young people under eighteen, YWC aims to build a supportive church network where youth can find spiritual encouragement, meaningful learning opportunities, and a sense of belonging—all while exploring worship as a lifestyle, not simply a Sunday experience.
Our Biblical Foundation
Scripture is at the heart of our values, guiding everything we do. We believe in:
- A Multi-Generational Church – Passing faith from one generation to the next (Psalm 145:4).
- Empowering Youth Leadership – Equipping young leaders to inspire and serve (1 Timothy 4:12).
- Worship as a Lifestyle – Honoring God in every aspect of life (Romans 12:1).
Our Mission
We exist to empower and support the next generation by creating a dynamic, collaborative opportunity for fellowship, discipleship, skills development and spiritual growth. We are committed to fostering a community where youth can experience encouragement, learning, community and fun, while also deepening their understanding of worship as a lifestyle.
We believe in providing access to free instruments and lessons, with the aim to equip young people to lead with a passion for Jesus, and worship God both privately and publicly, cultivating praise in all aspects of their lives.
Our Programs & Initiatives
- Creating Annual Worship Experiences - Annual experiences including a worship night (summer) and one-day conference (fall) to inspire and unite youth in their faith journey.
- Fostering Community Engagement - Year-round community through a Discord platform to encourage connection, discussion, and support.
- Equipping Churches with Accessible Worship Resources (COMING SOON) - Resources and guidance for churches to enable accessibility to free to low cost music lessons and instruments.
- Supporting Creative Worship Initiatives (COMING SOON) - Collaboration with churches to release recordings of original music under YWC, blessing the broader community with new worship material.
